Wow, I guess it's inevitable...

When a series achieves great success, there's always someone who tries to duplicate it. Really now, these "epic Mario battles" are getting pretty cliche and formulated... at least say something like that you were "inspired" by the other ones to make this. Give credit where credit's due. This was a totally unoriginal idea, and it's getting old fast.

tmanking responds:

Yeah it's cliche, and now the credit is up for the two big movies, i forget them when i did the credits. I don't care if it's unorignial, my unorignial movie's are decent and they still got a lower score. Geez, everything on Newgrounds is pretty much a duplicate, but you picked my up cause it's from the most popular movie. Yeah ok sure.

This was much better than the first one.

The voice acting was significantly better, and the animation seemed marginally improved. The plot had a fair amount of substance, but this was probably due in part to the prequel... overall, this was better -- maybe not spectacular, but still good. I was still pretty let down by the recording quality, though; the speech was a bit too breathy, and having to adjust the volume between music and dialogue got pretty annoying (again). But not bad. A little cliche, but not bad. There was certainly a lot of room to take the story.

TvP responds:

Ya, thanks for the review. Agent Morph 3, is going to be way better I can tell you that right now. But thanks anyways!

Great art!

Very nice. Although it was a little cliche with the whole Blade thing, the animation and graphics were VERY nice. Entertaining in a cinematic sort of way. Keep up the great work!

Sipho1312 responds:

i had to do the blade thing, well i gotta tell you first the characters in it were all ppl i knew, the black guy was me, butch and nate were friends that i graduated from highschool with who i still hang wit...so i did this to kinda entertain all of us...so one day i think we were listening to nate's bad techno, and i just made the comment when i hear techno thats bad like that, it makes me wanna dress like blade and go up in a club and start killin ppl...Plus guns and swords always make a nice combo, look at Versus and Matrix Reloaded

Well, it's nothing spectacular...

After a while, all the sprite movies start to look the same... It's usually an indication of a lack of skill (which is mostly excuseable) or a lack of effort (which is not). In general, it was mediocre and best, and it seemed like you had sacrificed a plot for what you attempted to pass off as humor. In addition, the ending didn't make enough sense to be much of a cliffhanger, so I'm not particularly motivated to look for the second one. I would have also given you a few points for having no spelling errors, as did the previous reviewer... until you spelled "knows" as "noes."

HyperFire responds:

What? Noes? The hell? What the hell? Alright...uh...yea.,..

Haha, classic...

The comedy was very cliche and typical, but the idea was fairly innovative, and the music was well placed. While I have a personal aversion to most sprite movies, this was well done for the most part... except for maybe the Daisy thing at the end; that kind of killed what humor you had going.

Warrier1 responds:

ya i agree on the daisy part but i wanted to get this out and i had no other ideas. maby if i think of another ill change that

Great job!

VERY nice for your first Flash movie. The art was great, the synching was accurate for the most part, and it was really funny in a very simple way. Keep it up, I think you could be making some great stuff in the near future.

TrickerTreat responds:

Thanks, I feel like I should be responding to everybody's reviews but it's a bit much, so sorry to anyone who left a good review that I didn't respond to!

Oh, come ON now...

This seems like a total rip off of Qi. That's all I have to say. You should be ashamed of yourself. If you can't be original, don't bother posting stuff like this.

fine-pizza responds:

I made the original of Life of a circle a long time before I ever even came close to seeing Qi, so it actually is original, but thanks for your uninformed opinion.

Wow, very nice...

I was seriously expecting to see a great movie after the title screen. (Man, why you guys always gotta leave me hanging like that?) The animation and music were great, but when the Revenge guy laughs, it's really scratchy, and that was a major let-down. Will it forever remain a teaser clip (OMFG plz sey n0!!!!!!1111) or will we see a series with these characters? Keep it coming!

maxmao2002 responds:

i start to change my mind now

First try? You're kidding.

You must have at least had some basic practice with Flash, you seem to have a pretty good feel for it. Aside from telling you that you should work on your animation and art style, this was significantly better than a lot of the first submissions out there. Work with Flash a bit more, and watch some other movies for inspiration, and you'll be doing top-notch stuff before long. (The audience credit at the end was highly appreciated, as was the somewhat less-than-clever subliminal "5".)

supasplif responds:

Yea thought i'd be cheeky at the end, i have studdied psychology somewhat and thought why not.

That was great...

Great sounds and music, and the animation was, for the most part, very good. I was hoping there'd be a bit more to it afterwards, and possibly even voice acting (I didn't notice the caption box until after missing a line of "dialogue" in the beginning), but overall, I'd have to say that I enjoyed it. Expand on it!

KoRRupt responds:

I shall.. maybe part 2 will have voice? Maybe not.. thanks!

The cheese is good. And five reviews a day isn't enough.
